About Feel It Out

Feel it out workshops and retreats are designed to provide attendees with self-nurturing activities that facilitate feelings in the body. In retreats we practice these things through movement, self-massage, meditative exercises and getting in touch with anger. In short workshops, pieces of these practices are condensed and expressed through various art mediums. The goal of Feel-It-Out is to get in touch with one’s feelings, and express one’s self. About Me

Hello, my Name is Jessica Brewster and I am the host and creator of Feel It Out.

I have degrees in Neuroscience and in Art History from the University of Arizona. I went on to work as a research associate in Alzheimer’s dementia, as well as Parkinson’s laboratories. I now work with adults in memory care as a care partner.

For several years I have owned and operated a small fiber arts business, making clothing and teaching people of all ages how to crochet.

My experience in the scientific and artistic realms of study have shown me how critically important creative self-expression is to long term physical and mental health.

In a world of ever-increasing distractions stressors, and obligations, my mission has been to create a space where movement, creative expression and self-care can come together to help people feel safe to be themselves and live healthier, more meaningful lives. Make time to express the parts of yourself that are too frequently ignored, repressed, or simply unattended to.
